Don’t you think that fall rhymes with crumble? I can’t imagine entering this season without baking this dish and having the entire house smell like apples and cinnamon.
This crumble texture is perfect, it tastes like heaven, and it’s 100% plant-based. Don’t wait a minute and try it too!
Ingredients
For the filling:
- 6-7 Apples (Granny Smith has the best reputation for crumbles but we used Paulared and it worked perfectly)
- 1 tbsp white flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup raisins
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the filling:
- 1 cup rolled oats or oatmeal
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powderà1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Pinch of salt
Step by Step Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Peel the apples (this is optional) and cut the apples in slices.

In a large baking dish, mix together all the ingredients for the filling.

In a separate bowl, mix the ingredients for the crumble until you start to get clumps.

Put the crumble on top of the apple mixture.

Bake for about 35 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool down for a while and serve warm.
